The brightest and most level-headed member of FAUX & Friends, Seedy graduated from Kansas State University in 1971.
Not content playing the part of a straight-faced weatherman, Seedy gravitated towards the dramatic. In 1975 he became a body-double for PBS' Fred Rogers. From there he unsuccessfully auditioned for spots on ZOOM, Villa Alegre, and a short-lived series focusing on nasal hygiene called The Booger-Hookers.
Unfazed by failure, and a second-place spot on one of Chuck Barry's last episodes of The Gong Show, Seedy returned to meteorology in 1989, working for WRC in Washington, D.C.
It was at this time a chance meeting with Roger Ailes at a Transvestites Anonymous Meeting in Woodbridge, VA, pushed Seedy towards the comfortable position he now enjoys as FNC's coolest weatherman.
